Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Lipstick in the shade 'Intime' review

There's always something special about buying a new lipstick, whether it's the fancy packaging or the beautifully shaped bullet that's never been used or even just the smell which always reminds me of my grandma's lipsticks as a child. The whole experience is made even more special though when it's a designer lipstick..... Chanel in particular. Chanel packaging has always been that classic black with gold accents and the iconic 2 C's, the logo that Chanel are quite famous for. For the past 10 years or so I have managed to get myself 4 Chanel lipsticks which I treasure like they're gold bullions. My favourite of them all has to be their lipstick in the shade Intime. It is the perfect nude for my natural lip colour and it goes well with my colouring. This particular range of lipsticks from Chanel are very moisturising and extremely comfortable to wear. I can't wear matte lipsticks that often because my lips get too dry, so I know I will be comfortab

A bit about me. Did you know I use a wheelchair?

I always struggle talking or writing about myself, particularly when people want to know a bit about my early life or what my favourite books/movies are. I alway feel put on the spot and I never know what to say. So I've just asked my husband what I should say and he's given me a few pointers on where to start, so here goes........... I was born and raised in the north east of England and from leaving school I then went straight on to study travel and tourism and then beauty therapy afterwards at Newcastle college. The plan was then to apply for a job as a beauty therapist on board a 1st class or private plane. Right before I finished my beauty therapy course though I met my husband whilst out for students night in Newcastle. So the plan changed and I decided to apply for beauty therapist jobs locally instead. I then worked as a beauty therapist in a local salon for a while and I also worked for myself in a lovely little hair salon. I really did learn a lot there and I will b

Glamglow Thirsty Mud Face Mask Review

For some time now I have wanted to purchase one of the Glamglow face masks but I could never justify spending that amount of money on a face mask, but I eventually got the chance to try it out when I saw that Marks and Spencer's had the mini pots in at a fraction of the cost. I was so excited when I saw it but then I had another dilemma, which mask do I choose!! They have a selection to choose from depending on your skin type and what results you want from it. I decided to go for the Thirsty Mud as I have combination skin with a lot of dry patches on my cheeks. As soon as I got home I was desperate to go straight to the bathroom to try it out. People had been going nuts for this brand for at least the past 2 years and I now had their face mask in my hand ready to use. I have to admit I was expecting miracles. If it was good enough for Jeffree Star and Nikkie Tutorials then it was certainly good enough for me. I peeled back the plastic wrapping and twisted the top off to find a

June 2018 favourites

Where is 2018 going? We're already half way through the year. Scarey. Last month I had an array of different products that I was loving and couldn't stop using. I have really enjoyed some more than others so I'll just jump straight in to it. First off, with all this heat we've been having in the UK recently my hair is always feeling greasy a few hours after washing it. It seems that no matter how often I wash it within a few hours it's stuck to the sides of my forehead again  (Sorry if that's tmi). I have found 2 things that seem to be working perfectly for me though and they're both affordable products. The first is a shampoo that has been on the market for some time now but I had never used it before until about 4 months ago. It is the Pantene Pro V Classic Clean Shampoo. I have very thick hair so I usually have to use quite a bit of shampoo per wash but not with this one. It really does do a deep clean of your hair and it doesn't strip your hair of
